There was more presentations in class today which included: digital storytelling, virtual reality, cellphone use in the classroom, and making safer spaces for marginalized students. I really enjoyed the virtual reality presentation. I have engaged in some VR and I am really excited for its uses in education. We also talked about coding, and some different programs that make coding more easily accessible for students or even teachers that are not familiar. I used scratch and I think it would be very useful once I became more familiar with the program.
As this course is coming to a close, I have begun to really appreciate the diversity of topics we have covered in this class. I think the benefits of taking a class like this is there is a flexibility to explore a plethora of topics because technology is such a rich topic.
