This week for my free inquiry project I found I was very busy and didn’t have the time to go for a lengthy hike. Instead of doing absolutely nothing, I decided to look for journal articles that outline the benefits of mindfulness and how they can relate to nature. I was amazed at how much research was devoted to mindfulness and the plethora of research articles addressing this topic. It was not very difficult to find research on this topic which made me think it is a topic that interests a lot of people and can have real life implications.
