"For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream." Vincent Van Gogh

Week 4

person using MacBook pro turned onThis week in class we learned how to use different programs that work with audio and visual components. We worked in iMovie, Screen Cast, and Audacity. I was pretty familiar with iMovie, and Audacity from using them in previous courses and in personal use. I found it very useful to learn how to overlap green screen videos with other media. I think this could be very useful to use with students, because it can be quite easy to film green screen material using green fabric. I think it could allow the students to get very creative and collaborate with one another as well. I found using Screencast to be very useful, especially when needing to demonstrate something on a computer for students. As a teacher, if you anticipate students needing some further instruction at home or after the lesson, having a screencast instructional video would be very beneficial. I can definitely see myself using this program in the future.
