This week in class we learned how to use different programs that work with audio and visual components. We worked in iMovie, Screen Cast, and Audacity. I was pretty familiar with iMovie, and Audacity from using them in previous courses and in personal use. I found it very useful to learn how to overlap green screen videos with other media. I think this could be very useful to use with students, because it can be quite easy to film green screen material using green fabric. I think it could allow the students to get very creative and collaborate with one another as well. I found using Screencast to be very useful, especially when needing to demonstrate something on a computer for students. As a teacher, if you anticipate students needing some further instruction at home or after the lesson, having a screencast instructional video would be very beneficial. I can definitely see myself using this program in the future.
