This week, the most exciting part of class was having Spencer attend as a robot. He attended the session remotely using a robot, and it was very interesting to see how robotic technology can enhance classroom learning.
We discussed our Ed Tech Inquiry project, and started to form groups. It was quite difficult to choose just one topic, but I have decided to look at mindfulness apps and their benefits in the classroom.
During class we discussed open education and received an in-depth look at the difference between copyright, creative commons, and the public domain. It was very eye-opening to learn more about copyright licensing and become more aware of what is available for use without infringing on copyright laws. I will definitely try to be more aware of where I source my images and content after this lesson.
